Control Room A is the main audio hub of Big Sky.

The room is a very well appointed with 2” 24 track analog and an extremely powerful multiple processor digital editing system. A well-implemented MIDI transfer system allows for flawless interface to outside sequencing systems.

The room offers a large, multi-level, work area with seating for up to 14 persons. The acoustics are well tuned and accurate. Genelec nearfield monitors provide a true and exact mix at any listening level, and Urei dual 15” monitors present the bigger picture.

The front end of this recording system utilizes some of the highest rated tools from makers such as Neve, Manley, Focusrite, Daking, Summit and Urei.
The console is a 36 input Neotek with a history. It belonged to Jackson Browne and was used on many of his earlier hits. It also was used to record Stevie Ray Vaughn's first album, Texas Flood.
